This year MIRTHE for the first time exhibited at Photonics West Conference in San Francisco, CA, on January 26-28, 2010. Photonics West is one of the biggest photonics, laser, and biomedical optics conference events, which brings thousands of exhibitors and visitors every year from all over the world. The portable, compact, wireless CO2 sensor attracted lots of conference visitors, who stopped the booth asking questions. Clinton Smith (PhD student) and Stephen So (post-doctoral fellow) from Prof. Gerard Wysocki group who have been working on this development were demonstrating the sensor’s performance and its potential interest to industry, researchers, scientists, students, national laboratories and government representative, as well as the investment community.
